Sights include: - Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk (Church of Our Lady): The brick spire, standing at 122 metres, is Europe's highest brick tower/building. - Belfort: Housing a municipal Carillion of 47 bells, the city still employs a full-time bell ringer, who regularly puts on free concerts. - Sint-Salvator Cathedral: Founded in the 10th century, the cathedral houses many pieces of original art work.
